ERGO MTPL insurance has a big plus: free breakdown recovery service throughout Europe, where your vehicle is towed to the nearest workshop or garage regardless of whether you caused the accident or were the injured party. The client can ask for instructions, by calling 655 5401 right after the accident, on how to act at the site of the accident and what to do next.
ERGO provides a free recovery service for passenger cars and motorcycles in the Liiklus+ package throughout Europe, if these have a valid motor TPL insurance policy by ERGO. ERGO provides free service only by calling 655 5401. Free service is provided abroad only by calling +372 655 5401.
Liiklus+ service guarantees free recovery service in case of a MTPL insurance event having occurred on the roads of the Green Card countries, if continuing your journey is impossible.
You can also use the recovery service free of charge when your car/motorcycle has suffered damages in an accident or when you have caused an accident yourself and continuing your journey is impossible.
We offer the service free of charge once within the framework of one event and we tow the vehicle to the nearest workshop or garage.
Use of the recovery service
- If continuing your journey with your vehicle after an accident is impossible, call
655 5401 to request the recovery service.
- The service is free of charge only if you call the ERGO Vehicle Helpline 655 401. ERGO does not indemnify the recovery services requested from other telephone numbers. ERGO also does not indemnify recovery services in the framework of Liiklus+ on the basis of cost documents.
- We will then tow the vehicle from the scene of the event to the nearest workshop or garage and we well give you the exact location of your vehicle and a contact telephone number, and also an estimate of how long solving the problem may take.
- Recovery is free of charge for you if you caused the accident. Contact ERGO Insurance immediately after your vehicle has been towed away in order to register the accident.
- Recovery is free of charge for you if you are the victim in the accident. Contact the insurance company of the person who caused the accident immediately after your vehicle has been towed away in order to register the accident.
Recovery service abroad
ERGO also offers the free recovery service in other European countries with the Liiklus+ package. When requesting the service by phone, include the country code of Estonia and dial
+372 655 5401.
In case of an accident occurred in the Baltic countries the owner of a motorcar or motorcycle receives recovery service free of charge only if he calls the number +372 655 5401. We will then send a local service provider to the scene of the event, who will tow your vehicle to the nearest workshop or garage.
In case of an accident occurred in another European country the owner of a motorcar or motorcycle receives recovery service free of charge only if he calls the number +372 655 5401 and after returning to Estonia submits to the insurance company documents for compensating the expenses made.
